The public are permitted to use the site subject to our Terms and Conditions and these BETA conditions. This site is in BETA test phase which means that it is still in development and changes are being made and bugs being fixed so the site may not work 100% and you may not receive the level of service or functionality you expect. During this test phase all users are requested to report any problems or errors discovered to assist us in completing the development to produce the final version of the site. During this time any major changes to the site may require resetting the site in which case all information may be lost.
THIS SITE IS COMPLETELY FREE TO USE FOR A LIMITED TIME, we charge nothing to use or access this site, HOWEVER if you place bid on anything on MyCollection you are entering a legal contract to purchase that item. All auctions are live and real, DO NOT BID IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO BUY!

CONTENT
Users may not post in either collections, community or classifieds or any other part of the web site any pictures, words or links which contain or represent any adult content including pornography, illegal items, hate speak, racism. We may at our discretion allow certain items (e.g. Nazi paraphernalia) if it is presented in a non racist way as part of a legitimate collection, not for the purpose of supporting the Nazi regime. In all cases if a page or item is reported to us as being against our terms and conditions our team will at their sole discretion decide on the fate of that page or item and may remove the page or ban the posting member with or without notification or justification.

REMOVAL
We reserve the right to remove or modify any information or images posted on this site by any user for whatever reason we see fit.

COLLECTION INTEGRITY
Please only post legitimate collections. Any collection which is two small to be deemed a collection may be removed. Any collection which has no common thread between items may be removed. Any collection which just consists of images collected from around the internet which the posting user does not own is not allowed.

COLLECTION VERIFICATION
In rare cases where there is some doubt as to the authenticity of your collection you may be asked to send a verification photo. This may be a request to take a photo if a particular item or a group shot of a whole collection. If this happens you will be notified with the details but an example would be where you are asked to take a photo of a particular item with a piece of paper clearly visible in the photo with the words "MyCollection" written on the paper. We would only request this if a collection seems too fantastic to be real, or if there is a dispute which needs resolving.

MORE THAN ONE ACCOUNT
It is against our terms and conditions for a user to hold more than one account. It is forbidden for users to place bids on their own auctions, or to use friends accounts to “shill bid” on their own or each others auctions. This includes trying to drive up the bid amount or to damage or avoid the proper auction process.

PHOTOGRAPHS AND COPYRIGHT
It is good practice to take your own photographs of your collection rather than using pictures downloaded from the internet. Images on the internet may be copyright and must not be used without written authorization from the copyright holder. You must not take photographs from another users collection to add to your own.

ADDITIONS
Once an auction has begun you may still make changes to the listing up until the first bid is placed. At that time you may not change the content of the auction and you may not add extra items to the auction by way of the message board for that auction. This would be seen as an attempt to avoid the auction process and therefore avoid paying MyCollection any fees on this additional item. An example of this would be if on an auction for an iPod, a bidder asks if the seller also has a carry case available for the iPod. The Seller says yes they will add one in for an additional $10 for the successful bidder. If additional items are included at no extra charge that is not a problem but if additional items are to be offered they should be listed as new auctions and the seller may use the message board to notify bidders that they have other items available.

SELLING AND CONTACT OFF SITE
Users may not exchange contact information for the purpose of contacting each other off site to avoid the auction process any users doing so may have their account suspended or removed at our sole discretion.

FEEDBACK
After a sale or purchase has been completed both the seller and buyer are invited to place feedback on each other for the purpose of building up a rating either negative, positive or neutral. This rating is useful as it gives buyers a measure as to the integrity of a seller before bidding. The more positive feedbacks a user has the more likely he/she is to be honest. However the auction process is based on trust and should either the buyer or seller not uphold their end of the sale and purchase contract, MyCollection will not be held responsible for any loss suffered. If you cannot resolve the problem directly with the other party then you may place negative feedback on them. MyCollection will not change the feedback placed on a member under any circumstances at the request of a user. The only time feedback will be changed or removed is if it breaches the terms and conditions of our site. In such a case the changes will be at our sole discretion. Feedback must be honest and informative. Any user we deem to be abusing the feedback process may be suspended or banned from the site at our sole discretion.

BIDDING
When you bid on an auction you are entering in to a legal contract with the seller. Unlike some other online auction sites users cannot remove bids. If you place a bid you are responsible to complete the purchase, if you do not you will be considered to be breaking a legal contract and may be subject to legal action from the seller or MyCollection. You may also at our discretion have your account suspended or removed.
