USE OF YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
MyCollection does not sell, rent, loan, hire out or trade your personal information to any third party.

Like you we are collectors too. We have created the site because we want to use it too and to us your privacy is paramount. Your personal information is used only for the operation of your account on this web site. MyCollection, Stevens Marketing Ltd and its owners are committed to treating your personal information with the utmost care and respect. We will not pass your information on to any other party, company or web site unless: requested to do so by Law enforcement Agents within New Zealand, as part of legal proceedings as required under New Zealand Law, for the protection of MyCollection, Stevens Marketing Ltd and its owners or for the safety of other users.

EMAIL
MyCollection uses email to communicate with it's users, both through the auction process and through the regular process of operating the site. We send out a monthly newsletter and may at times send urgent notices by email. We need to make sure that all users are kept aware of current issues regarding using the site so we do not allow users to opt out of receiving our emails, but a user can request that their account be closed at any time and we will respect this request and remove you immediately from our system. Email tools are also offered on MyCollection like send this page to a friend. Any email addresses entered using these tools are not stored or used for any other purpose. Users may not use these tools for means of spamming or any other use which violates our privacy policy or our terms and conditions.

UPDATING YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION
At any time you can update your personal information through your personal User Panel. If any of you contact details change you are required to keep them up to date. Should you change your email address all previous email addresses are stored by our system to prevent users holding more than one account.

PASSWORD
You are responsible to protect your password, user name and email address. If you choose to use the auto-log in feature you are confirming that you are the only person who will use your computer. If you are using a public or shared computer you MUST log-out after use. If you do not, others may be able to use your account to make changes and bid on you behalf. You will be held responsible for such actions.

CREDIT CARD SECURITY
We use only the latest and highest security methods to take your credit card details.

COOKIES
Cookies are small pieces of information which web sites temporally store on the users computer. They are harmless and delete themselves after they expire (usually when you leave MyCollection). With cookies disabled our site may not work for you.

OTHER INFORMATION
We may collect other information for the purposes of demographics, improving our service and preventing abuse of our site. This may include URL’s which a user has come from, the URL they go to and in some cases IP addresses. This information will only be provided to law enforcement agencies to track down those abusing Mycollection, and will never be given out to other users or third parties.
Information emailed or mailed to us regarding other users may be stored on a file specifically for that user. This is done to assist our staff in investigating abuse and misuse of MyColection.

MEMBERSHIP REMOVAL
If you no longer require your account you can request to have it removed.

ADVERTISING AND BANNERS
You will see on our site Advertisements, Banners and Links to other third party web sites. Although we have conditions for these advertisers, we have no control over the content of the linked web sites. We do not allow advertising to adult web sites, but once a link has been established we cannot police it’s content. Always review third party terms and policy before submitting your personal information to them.
