What is MyCollection?

We are collectors too and we understand how collectors treasure their collections and often leave them packaged up under the bed for safe keeping. So when you are standing around the water-cooler at work and you tell your colleague you collect fridge magnets, what better way than to jump on to www.mycollection.co.nz and show him a thumbnail gallery of all the items in your collection(s). He can click on one of the thumbnails to see a full size view too.
Or perhaps you have a friend who lives on the other side of the world. He is always sending you teaspoons to add to your collection, but lately he has started sending you some that you already have! Well now just email him the link to your collection and he can check before buying you any more.
With auctions and wanted-to-buy’s you can also help to build you collection while only dealing with collectors who understand how important packaging etc really is.
Lastly the Community is a place where you can place a picture of an item and ask for a value or something like that, without having to list it as an auction with a ridiculous reserve and hope that some keen collector does not pay the silly reserve and you loose the item. Just place a picture and a quick question and other helpful collectors from around the world will help to answer your question for you.
We are also always open to suggestions from our members on ways to improve the site further, so if you think of anything, please be sure to let us know.
